Murray Magazine 2008: Each family will ONLY receive one copy of Murray Magazine 2008 this year. For families with more than one child at Murray, one copy will automatically be given to your youngest child. However, you can purchase additional copies of the magazine for $5/copy. An order form was sent home in your child’s backpack and extra copies of the form can be found in the Murray Magazine 2008 drawer outside of the main office. Please return the completed form and check to the Murray Magazine 2008 drawer by April 11. There will NOT be any extra copies available after the distribution of Murray Magazine this spring. | Visit the New PTA Bulletin Board for News and Information: The PTA has installed a new bulletin board on the wall across from the Library. It’s your one-stop source for news and information about Murray PTA-related events and programs, PTA volunteer opportunities, and for tips from our own Green Tigers and Nutrition and Wellness committees. So, next time you’re waiting inside the school’s front entrance, be sure to pay it a visit!

| A Recycling Tip from the Green Tigers:About 33% of all Americans recycle. You may already be doing your part by recycling cans, bottles, and paper goods, but maybe you have been wondering how to dispose of some of those other items, such as compact fluorescent lights (CFLs), computers, batteries, paints, toys, etc. Many of those items contain dangerous toxins. Instead of tossing them in your garbage, check the website www.earth911.org or call 1-800-cleanup. All you have to do is enter your zip code and you will be given the addresses of the closest facilities that recycle those items.
