5th grade updates!

Hommocks newsletter:

If you have a current 5th grader, be sure to sign up to start receiving the Hommocks weekly newsletter, HMXpress. Just go to http://mamkschoolspta.org/hommocks/ and click on "Join Our Email List" on the left hand side of the page.  Make sure you check off the "5th grade list", which is your child's CURRENT grade so that you will receive grade sensitive email blasts as well as HMXpress.

Incoming Hommocks Information

On May 8th Murray 5th Graders will visit and tour Hommocks with their classes in the morning.
On May 22nd at 9:15am & 7:15pm Incoming Grade 6 Conversation with Hommocks Principal at the Hommocks library

Oral History

Oral History Day is Friday May 18, from 1:30 - 3:00. If you have an oral historian in mind to invite to speak to a group of students or would like to volunteer to help out please contact Pam Sullivan.

Class T-shirts

The t-shirts will be distributed to your child's class the day before the Spring Fair -- Friday May 11th. Please plan on having your child wear it to the Spring Fair!

Graduation

Graduation will take place on Monday June 18th at 9:15 a.m. in the Auditorium. Look out for a graduation invitation in the mail by Memorial Day. You will also receive an email invitation for the graduation party that night which is for the graduates only from 5-7pm at the school.

• Spring Fair: Saturday, May 12th- 11- 4- wear your 5th grade t-shirt!
• Oral History Day: May 18th
• Ellis Island Trip: May 22nd 8:10 a.m.
• Philadelphia Trip : June 8th- details to come
• Graduation Rehearsal : June 15th 10:15 a.m.
• Graduation: June 18th 9:15 a.m.
• Graduation Reception: Monday, June 18th, immediately following the graduation ceremony
• Graduation Party: Monday, June 18th 5:00-7:00 pm at school
